Free Teens USA reaches more than 10,000 teens annually in urban and suburban areas of NY and NJ with messages of healthy relationships, self-leadership, and character development. Free Teens aims to help youth achieve their life dreams and goals including that of preparing for a committed love relationship that can last a lifetime!
After-school programs include Free Teens Clubs and Teen Leader Councils, which seek to increase the number of teens aware of the consequences of risky behavior such as uncommitted sex and drugs and who have resolved to abstain from sex, drugs, and other high-risk behaviors.
Club members study the nationally recognized “Relationship Intelligence” and “Free Teens Leadership Training” curricula which give depth to the message of the abstinence lifestyle, do community service, and engage in Media Institute activities including writing and recording music, dance, spoken word and drama performance, visual art and video production.
The Free Teens Clubs, Teen Leader Councils and Media Institute function as support groups that provide an alternative culture where respect for self and others is celebrated and practiced! Teens in these Free Teens programs enjoy long-term relationships with leaders who care about them and who themselves practice the “lovesmart” lifestyle!
